Today the folks at Jorgenson Industrial Companies celebrated the annual White Elephant Gift Exchange. Read the full story and learn more from Jorgenson Companies.
White Elephant gifts
This year we witnessed a little tamer WE Gifts than in years past. Certainly enough, there were some creative ones as well…
The rules were pretty simple; NO gift over $15. Otherwise it was whatever you could find while doing your last minute Christmas shopping over the weekend–or something you just happened to have on your desk or in your drawers. Like all of these 'contests' you could open a gift, steal, or pass along a certain amount of times before you get 'stuck' with the one elephant you happen to be holding.
Gift exchange fun
Perhaps the funniest White Elephant gift wound up in the hands of Jason; Jorgenson Industrial Companies' Information Technology Director. …yes, the coveted and most-sought after gift of Vanilla Bliss Body Butter. Yep. Jason will now sport the heavenly scent of vanilla, and of course irrevocable and unrelenting shame.
Jason with his prize
The best White Elephant gift was a gift card to Home Depot for the staggering sum of–you guessed it–$15. Chris from SchoolLockers.com stole it in the 3rd Round.
All in all it was a fun time and a great way to end the year!
